Number Drop — new signing graphic template
Number Drop is a shirt number reveal graphic template for football and soccer clubs: a floodlit field in your colours, a giant ghost number behind the player, WELCOME and the first name above a heavy surname slab, and a rail of pills for position, headline and former club. It exports as an image or an animated MP4.
The number and the position come from the player’s entry in your saved roster, so the reveal is ready as soon as the squad number is confirmed. It works as the follow-up to the announcement, or as the announcement itself when the number is the story. Number Drop is one of the New Signing designs on the Pro plan.

When to use Number Drop
Three days after the welcome post, the kit man confirms it: the new striker takes the nine. Number Drop turns that into a second piece of content from the same signing — same player, same photo, a new reason to post — which is how professional clubs stretch one transfer across a week.
It suits the player supporters already know. A returning favourite taking their old number, or an academy graduate handed a first-team shirt, doesn’t need introducing; the number is the news, and the giant ghost digit behind them says it before the text does.
What the finished graphic should include
- The squad number, confirmed — it is set large and is hard to take back
- The player’s first name and surname
- Their position, in the pill rail
- The headline and former club, if you are using them
- A full-length or three-quarter photo, so the number has room behind the player
Number Drop, answered
From the player’s roster entry. Set their number and position when you add them to your squad and Number Drop uses both automatically, so the same details appear correctly on every lineup, goal and substitution graphic for the rest of the season.
Post Welcome first. It announces the signing without a number, and Number Drop then becomes the follow-up once the shirt is confirmed. Two posts from one signing is the better outcome anyway.
