1. Scope and role

This Privacy Policy applies to SportGraphics websites, applications, accounts, billing flows, rendering tools, AI-assisted tools, storage features, support communications, and related services.

SportGraphics is responsible for the personal information we collect and determine how to use. If you use SportGraphics on behalf of a club, school, company, league, agency, or other organization, that organization may also be responsible for how it collects and uses personal information through the Service.

  • Billing information: subscription plan, Stripe customer identifiers, checkout status, billing portal activity, payment status, invoice metadata, and limited payment details provided by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, feature usage, event logs, error logs, performance information, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Local storage data: roster, team configuration, cached image references, preferences, and related application state stored in your browser through local storage, IndexedDB, cookies, or similar technologies.
  • Support communications: messages, feedback, bug reports, survey responses, and related contact details.

3. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you, from your organization, from other users authorized by your organization, from your browser or device, from authentication providers such as Google, from payment processors such as Stripe, and from service providers that help us operate the Service.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • enforce plan limits, quotas, watermarks, and feature access;

  • debug errors, measure performance, and understand feature adoption;
  • comply with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and property of SportGraphics, users, clubs, players, and others.

5. Legal bases where required

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of vital interests where applicable.

Our legitimate interests include operating and securing the Service, improving features, preventing abuse, supporting customers, and developing a sustainable SaaS business, balanced against your rights and expectations.

6. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers: hosting, database, storage, authentication, security, analytics, email, rendering, image processing, AI, payment, billing, and support providers.
  • Payment processors: Stripe and related financial providers to process subscriptions, invoices, refunds, taxes, fraud checks, and billing portal activity.
  • AI and media processing providers: providers that process images, prompts, reference designs, and generated outputs only as needed to perform requested features.
  • Your organization and authorized users: if your account is used for a club or organization, content and account activity may be visible to authorized users or administrators.
  • Legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, professional advisers, or others where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transaction parties: potential or actual buyers, investors, lenders, advisers, or successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the word. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is used under California privacy law.

7. AI processing and generated media

When you use AI-assisted or media processing features, we may send relevant images, prompts, reference files, and output data to third-party providers so they can perform the requested task. Examples include background removal, pose generation, image generation, animation remixing, and reference design analysis.

We do not intentionally use your private uploads to train our own foundation models. Third-party providers may process data according to their own service terms, privacy notices, and data processing commitments. Do not upload images, personal data, or confidential information unless you have the rights and consents needed to do so.

8. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, cache roster and media data, support app performance, protect against abuse, and understand how the Service is used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking cookies or local storage may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain backups, and support legitimate business needs.

Some browser-local data remains on your device until you clear it or the application removes it. Deleted account or content data may remain in backups, logs, or archives for a limited period unless earlier deletion is required by law and technically feasible.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include authentication controls, access controls, encrypted transport, provider security features, monitoring, and backup practices.

No service can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting your login credentials, and controlling access to your account and devices.

11. International transfers

We and our service providers may process personal information in Canada, the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those where you live.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contracts or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing of personal information. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator.

You can update some account, roster, and team information inside the Service. To make a privacy request, use the support or account contact options available in the Service. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may refuse, limit, or delay a request where permitted by law, such as where we must retain information for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.

13. California and U.S. state privacy notices

Some U.S. state privacy laws provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain processing, and appeal a denied request. We do not knowingly sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We also do not knowingly use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you except as necessary to provide requested features, secure the Service, or comply with law.

14. Children and minors

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

The Service may be used by adults to create graphics involving youth teams or minor players. If you upload or process a minor's name, image, likeness, or roster details, you are responsible for obtaining all required parental, guardian, club, school, league, or legal consent.

15. Marketing communications

We may send service, account, billing, security, and administrative messages. If we send marketing emails, you may opt out by using the unsubscribe instructions in the email or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send non-marketing messages related to your account or the Service.

16. Third-party links and integrations

The Service may link to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated policy, updating the date above, or providing in-app or email notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means the updated policy applies to future processing.

18. Contact

Questions or requests about this Privacy Policy can be submitted through the support or account contact options available in the Service.
