Spotlight — match day graphic template
Spotlight is SportGraphics’ free matchday graphic template for football and soccer clubs: a big MATCH DAY wordmark behind one centred player, with both crests, the opponent and the kickoff set in your club’s colours. It exports as a 1080×1080 feed post or a 1080×1920 story, and it is the matchday design included on the free plan.
It is the fixture announcement most clubs start with because it asks for so little. Your crest and colours are saved once, the fixture details carry over from your club setup, and one decent photo of any player carries the whole post. Paid plans remove the watermark and add the animated MP4 version.

When to use Spotlight
It’s Thursday night and the first team are at home on Saturday. You open SportGraphics on your phone, type the opponent and the 3pm kickoff, pick the player supporters will want to see, and Spotlight is finished before the kettle boils. Post the square to the feed the day before and the vertical to stories on the morning of the game.
Spotlight is also the safest choice when the club has no photographer. The wordmark and your colours do the heavy lifting, so a phone photo with the background removed — which works on every plan — is enough. If your program says game day rather than matchday, Retro Print is the design whose headline you can retype.
What the finished graphic should include
- Your crest and the opponent’s crest, so the matchup reads before the text does
- The opponent’s name, spelled the way they spell it
- Kickoff time in the format your supporters use — 3pm, 15:00 or 7:30 PM
- A match label for the competition or round: league, county cup, playoff
- One player photo, ideally in this season’s kit
