Full time & match result graphic templates — animated
SportGraphics has animated full-time graphic templates for football and soccer clubs — Split Score, Player Poster and Match Photo. Type the final score, keep the title as “Full Time” or retype it to “Final Score”, and the match result graphic assembles in your club’s colours with both crests, ready to export as a 1080×1080 image or animated MP4 within a minute of the whistle.
Full time is when the whole feed checks in
The result post reaches further than anything else you publish on a matchday. Fans who couldn’t get to the ground, parents in the car park, the rival club’s admin, the league page that re-shares scores — all of them look for the full-time graphic within minutes of the final whistle. Post it then, in your colours, and you own the moment. Post a phone screenshot on Sunday night and you’ve reported old news.
That timing is only realistic if the graphic is already made. Your crest, colours and opponent are saved in SportGraphics before kickoff, so at full time you type two numbers, pick a template and export. The whole thing takes less time than walking from the dugout to the clubhouse.
What a full-time graphic should include
Lead with the scoreline — big, unmissable, both clubs named or crested so it reads correctly when it’s shared without your caption. Then a clear label: “Full Time” in the UK and Ireland, “Final Score” or “Final” in the US. Add the competition, your scorers if you have them, and the crest and colours that make it recognisably yours in a fast feed.
Leave out anything the reader has to squint at. A result graphic gets glanced at for two seconds; the score and the clubs have to land in the first one. Every SportGraphics result template is laid out around that hierarchy, so you can’t accidentally bury the number under a photo.
Final score graphics (US)
If your program says final score rather than full time, the templates work the same way — the title on the graphic is a text field, so “FULL TIME” becomes “FINAL” or “FINAL SCORE” in a tap, and Split Score lists goalscorers on each side for the box-score crowd. College and high-school soccer programs, youth travel teams and US amateur clubs use exactly the same designs; only the vocabulary on the graphic changes.
Posting after a defeat
Post the score anyway. A club that only posts wins looks like it’s hiding, and the people who care about you already know the result. Keep the defeat graphic identical in format to the win — same template, same colours — and let the caption do the tone: thank the travelling support, name the next fixture, move on. Match Photo is a good choice here, because a real photo of the effort says more than a scoreline alone. What you don’t do is skip the post and quietly go dark until the next win.
Sizes and where to post them
Export the 1:1 square (1080×1080) for feed posts on Instagram, Facebook and X, and the 9:16 vertical (1080×1920) for stories, reels and TikTok. Both come from the same template with the layout re-flowed for the taller frame, so you don’t rebuild anything. The animated MP4 version of every result template exports on paid plans and consistently gets watched further than a still in stories.
Split Score, Player Poster or Match Photo
Split Score is the classic FT board — the scoreline splits the frame between the two clubs’ colours, with a free-text scorer box on each side. Player Poster gives full time to one photo — the player of the match, the debutant, the keeper who kept a clean sheet — with the score set beneath it and a title you can retype to “Player of the Match”. Match Photo frames a real photo from the game with the score in a white strip below. All three fill themselves from your club setup and unlock on Basic ($9/mo), watermark-free with the animated MP4 included.
Every template fills itself from your club setup and exports both feed and story sizes — see the full animated design gallery or compare plans and pricing.
Match Result graphics, answered
Not for result graphics. The free plan covers one roster player and the Goal and Match Day events — one watermarked image export a month, which resets each calendar month. Full-time and match result templates unlock on Basic ($9/mo or $90/yr), watermark-free with animated MP4 export.
Yes, on Split Score. It has two free-text scorer boxes — one for your team, one for the opponent — so you type “Taylor 32, Aina 68” however you like. Scorers aren’t pulled from earlier goal graphics; you enter them at full time, which takes about ten seconds.
Cheapest is Basic on the annual plan ($90/yr — two months cheaper than paying monthly). Fastest is any of the three: with your club saved, a result graphic is two numbers and an export. If you also want the standout player on the graphic, use Player Poster and upload the photo from your phone.
1080×1080 for the feed on Instagram, Facebook and X; 1080×1920 for stories and reels. Every SportGraphics result template exports both from the same design.
Yes. Each result template has a built-in animated version that exports as an MP4 — the score counts in, the crests land, no After Effects or keyframes involved. Animated export is included on paid plans from $9/mo.
Yes, on Pro ($15/mo): the sponsor strip is an opt-in on each design, so you decide per graphic whether the sponsor logos appear on the full-time post.
