Impact Change — substitution graphic template
Impact Change is a substitution graphic template for football and soccer clubs that puts the focus on the player coming on: their cut-out, name, shirt number and position lead the frame, with the player going off shown smaller beside them, the opponent’s crest and the minute. It exports as an image or a six-second animated MP4.
Where Sub Board treats a change as information, Impact Change treats it as a moment. It is the substitution design with the most energy, built on a bold cut-out treatment in your club’s colours. Impact Change is included from the Basic plan.

When to use Impact Change
The striker has been out for seven months and is about to come on for the last twenty minutes. That is not a routine change, and supporters will want the post. Impact Change makes the returning player the hero of the graphic, which is exactly how the crowd is treating them.
The same applies to a first-team debut, a new signing’s first appearance, or the substitute you are sending on to change the game. Use it when the arrival matters more than the departure; when both players deserve equal billing, Sub Board is the better fit.
What the finished graphic should include
- The player coming on as the hero — a strong cut-out, name, number and position
- The player going off, smaller, with their name
- The minute of the change
- The opponent’s crest, so the post carries its context
- Club colours behind the cut-out, not a busy background
Impact Change, answered
